Nicole Richie posed for the below left mug shot on August 23, 2007 after surrendering to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to begin serving four days in jail for a DUI conviction. The reality TV actress was released after spending 82 minutes in custody. The photo on the right was taken by the sheriff’s department in December 2006 after Richie was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Papazoo Commentary:

Wow a whole whopping 82 minutes out of a 4 day sentence. If everyone received the same preferential treatment we wouldn’t have any problems with prison overcrowding.
